Happy Mother's Day!!!

I took a short road trip to Haxtun for Mother's Day. It was nice to get to see my mom and my grandma on their special day. One thought I had was how many things have simply existed in my life that I hadn't put much thought to. Like grandma's redhot salad or the stone wall that encompasses their yard, and I hate to admit it but... mothers and grandmothers. I have a lot of friends who use this day in remembrance and I am so lucky to get to physically hug my mom and grandma and tell them I love them (and then proceed to eat a meal that my grandma cooked!) I appreciate the influence that my mother has had on me and I hope that I can express to the world how special my grandma's have been!
