My Classroom is Receiving Books from Donor's Choose!!!

I have been swampped at school this week but for a very excited reason!

Everyone who has voted for our school in the "Our School Needs" Competition has received a three dollar coupon code to donate to the Donor's Choose website that allows teachers to submit a project to be funded. Due to regulations, my first project was for a classroom set of A Little History of the World by E.H. Gombrich. After it was reviewed it was posted to the site yesterday and as of this morning it has been fully funded!

I have submitted a second project, that requests a laptop for my classroom for the students to use to check my website www.harmsworldhistory.blogspot.com and also check their grade. This project is currently under review and should be posted within the next five days. It will be posted at www.donorschoose.org/harmsworldhistory I will be sure to post when it posts! For those who do not want to login to submit their coupon, they have been sending them to me at harmsworldhistory@gmail.com and I have been entering them!

I'm exhausted but excited! I can't tell you how frustrating it's been to try to get materials for my class during this economic hardship and now we have a way to get what we need!
