Moab Madness

I made it to Moab! My backcountry buddy Terri and I made a mad dash for Moab on a Thursday night after my meeting. We got to Westwater late, made camp then spent the weekend exploring at places like Little Wild Horse Canyon, Goblin Valley, The Fiery Furnance, and camping at some pretty fun sites.

It was a super short trip, and we had to leave super early Sunday morning so I could make it to Holyoke Colorado by noon for my Grandma Renzelman's 85th birthday party, (look it up I drove the entire way across Colorado) but the weekend turned out to be just what I needed.

I haven't spent much time in the desert but after this trip, I'll definitely go back and hopefully get a little climbing in.
